• A surgical gastroenterologist is a superspecialist  trained  (after Masters in General Surgery) in dealing with disorders of gastrointestinal system, Liver, Pancreas & Biliary system, advanced laparoscopic surgery.

•  The division of Surgical gastroenterology deals with surgical management of various digestive disorders with state of the art minimally invasive techniques.

•  Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, Apollo Hospital, Vizag , as a tertiary care center deal with the most complicated procedures. Gastrointestinal & Hepato Pancreato Biliary (HPB) oncology procedures, complex liver and pancreatic surgeries and advanced laparoscopic/key-hole surgeries are a few to name.

• Dr. Muralidhar Nambada has a special interest in keyhole surgeries, gastro-esophageal conditions including cancer and acid reflux, gallbladder and abdominal hernia.

– Trained in Minimally Invasive Hepato Pancreato Biliary & Minimally invasive Colorectal Surgery from ASAN Medical Centre – Seoul.
